This design was created as part of our Nuclear Pop Art Contest, where artists from around the world reimagined nuclear energy through bold, creative expression. All proceeds go directly to the artist. Every purchase supports both clean energy advocacy and independent creators using art to spark conversation.

This vintage-style comic strip plays on the words fusion, fission, and fiction to highlight a real-world irony: closing nuclear plants in the name of climate action often leads to more fossil fuel use. Bold, colorful, and satirical, it calls out the fiction behind “Net Zero without nuclear.”
